hmm... this is abt d YWD mtg... on 24 OCT 2007...

so arranged with rosie to mit her 7.15pm at mile end station again...
going to barbara's place for d dialogue again...
heehee...
so both of us happily walked to barbara's place...

when we reached there...
her flatmate said tt she's not home and will b home late!
OH!
anyway... her flatmate let us into d house n rosie called barbara to find out wat happened?

we stayed in d house for less than 5minutes n we left...
while leavning... rosie is still on d line with barbara...
so when we were downstairs n rosie off d phone...
she told mi abt d incidence...
barbara got an arguement with her flatmate...
ttz y she dun wana go home... n with us ard...
so....
we met barbara back at mile end station...

after meeting her...
they decided to go to a place... sit down n chat instead...
so... we went to this place...
forgot to c wat name...
sorrie...
heehee...
while walking to d place... we con't to chat along d way....
n they asked mi hw old i m.... n so on...
both of them thot i was 21 or YOUNGER!
haahaa....
they were so shocked when i told them im 27!
haahaa...
so... i told them d incident when i went marketing to buy a knife...
(did i mention here before? if not, ask mi abt d incident... haahaa)
and they were like... HUH!!!
haahaa....

after 15minutes of walk...
we reached d place...
itz a place for ppl to drink...
mind u... I DID NOT BRING ANY $$ out tt dae...
bec i thot i will not spend any $$...
so....... i was like.... hmm.... sort of blank when they asked wat i wana drink....

den barbara said... ITZ ON ME!
i was so pai sey lehz....
den i was still standing down there....

den after she asked again....
i said i wan a non-alcoholic drink....
so i ordered a coke in d end...

so we took d drink outside n we started off our dialogue...

IT WAS A WONDERFUL dialogue...
i shared with them my experiences n hw FORTUNATE i FEEL n talked abt my family... my life... n my practice in SG...
den after my sharing...
barbara n rosie started to open up n shared more with mi!!!

so... i was correct abt my feel for rosie...
n barbara...

able to feel for others...

n while listening to my sharings...

d dae is finali here for my FIRST discussion mtg here...

so mi excitedly take Docklands Light Railway (DLR) to south quay...
hmm... when i reached there... OH!
barbara was nt there yet...
so mi wondered around...
den 2gals called mi n asked if im waiting for barbara...
heehee...

bec im holding on to HR Vol. 1...

so they know im here for mtg...
haahaahaa....
so these 2 gals are serene, with a bicycle... (juz got to know tt she is the HQ YWD leader) and jamilah (from another district, and very high-spirited)... so we introduced outselves and chatted for a while...
n barbara was here not long after...
so we still haf to wait for rosie... n barbara's fren...
n we r all ready to go!!!

so on d way i was talking to rosie n asking her lots of qns...

hmm... a very soild 1.5hr of daimokukai i had at barbara's place!
we gathered to chant for the happiness of the members in london and their families... n the growth and development of KR in UK!
was a great daimokukai!!!
rosie, d district leader, met mi up at mile end station and brought mi to barbara's place...
although not many ppl attended... but those who attended were of high spirit!!!
den a wd, valarie, directed mi to go for my discussion mtg...
my discussion mtg place is at south quay... near canary wharf...
d assistant ywd leader... barbara... offered to mit mi there n go together...

so... mi blur blur wait for the dae to come n go n explore the area...
the discussion mtg will be on... 19OCT 2007!

jasmine called mi n said that her YWD happened to call her...
n she juz asked if she knows any1 from my area...

ok... let's start on my fieldwork visits...

ok... so actuali i nid to call n go to playgrounds or play centres in UK... by myself!!!

so after doing 6visits... i nid to choose 1 place which i liked BEST and go work with them for 300hours!!!

n my tutor said that when we call, we NEED NOT mention that we r going to look for place to work... just tell them that we r going there to visit...

bec if we say that we r going to work with them... some centres might nt welcome d idea... n will nt allow us to go visit their centre...

so... mi followed wat my tutor said and call or email them to arrange for visits...

so i went to 2places on Sat, 6oct...

1 to Toyhouse Libraries... d other is Glamis Adventure Playground...

BOTH CENTRE GOT VERY VERY NICE PEOPLE ARD!!!!!!

when i was at toyhouse libraries... d manager of d centre brought mi ard n introduced mi to d place n ppl running d centre...

tis centre tt i went is for special needs children...

and it happened to be run by a girl from d SAME COURSE AS MI...

and she is my tutor classmate!!!

CAN YOU BELIEVE IT????

to cut d story short...

at d end of the whole trip... d manager told mi that...

IF I WANT TO WORK WITH THEM FOR MY PLACEMENT, CAN ALWAYS CONTACT HER!!!

after i sent... IN LESS THAN A MINUTE... d person in charge REPLIED!!!

and we arranged to meet up too!!!

therefore, i was able to make 2visits on 6OCT!!!

it was a FANTASTIC discussion meeting!!!

we discussed abt the 3 powerful enemies...
every1 of them voiced out... except mi...
sitting there absorbing n observing their meetings...
IT'S SO DIFFERENT FROM SINGAPORE!
theirs is reali a DISCUSSION MEETING!
finali got to experience how open is d discussion meeting in UK!
d feeling was reali GREAT!

after meeting... d very nice couple treated us for lunch...
we had fussili with tomata paste... VERY NICE n HEALTHY!

n one of them actually studied in my university 8years ago... doing psychology...
her name is sasa...
we chatted quite a while...
mi asking her hw she took up faith n so on...
n abt her course... i tink... =p
den another african guy n d host husband join in...
we chatted together...
abt their life... n so on...
n of course... hw to overcome them thru our faith...
n Jasmine was running here n there with the host's daughter... Alexandra...
they were friends for 13YEARS!!!
n their friendship started from SGI-HK!
they struggled together for KR in HK!
so jasmine knows their daughter long ago...

after lunch... got desserts...

but i was up in their daughter's room playing trains with her!

so we were also leaving...

den went to marks n spencer to buy some food...
den i bght a jumper... which cost mi 9.50pounds...

we splited...
bec she has to go back to haf dinner with her family... (btw her parents nt around le...)
n i m oso super tired de... itz really 1 whole day...!

ok... she stayed in london before... for 13years...
den she went to HK for 9years... went to taiwan for 2.5years...
n finali back to london...
she is taiwan doing the taiwan bullet train project...
she is here in london nw to do d 2010 olympic project...
she is a quantity surveyor...

i have set a timing with my family to chant together in front of Gohonzon!!!
we set at 10pm everyday except WED... bec i got class during that time...
So sg 10pm is London time 3pm...
so if any1 of you free during this time n wana join in to chant together...
pls do so...
why have i initiated this is because...
this is how Toda Sensei communicated with his son, when his son was sent to his sister place to stay...
so i also wana use this to communicate with my family too!!!
heehee...

hmm... everything is still getting on fine...
im still feeling that im in singapore with all of you...
itz juz that i stayed a bit further...
heehee...

still trying to get used to the London accent...
